Devices like the MINIX Neo G4 and Neo X5 are not recognized by the Android Debugging Bridge (adb) which comes with the official Android SDK. Nonetheless if you want to establish an connection through adb do the followong:
- Download this version of SuperOneClick
- Extract and go into the folder “ADB”. There are modded versions of the adb:
adb.exe – for Windows
adblinux – for Linux
adbmac – for Mac
- Connect your device via USB (make sure that you have the “usb debugging” option enabled)
- Run adb via terminal or cmd …
The listed versions of adb will detect your device and are able to establish a connection via adb. You can start debugging with “adb logcat” and run other commands.
If it’s still not working install Moborobo and let it find the suitable driver for your rk3066 device.
I tested this tutorial with Minix Neo G4 and Minix Neo X5… Please comment below if this has worked with your device!
