Seems like that Reservoir Dogs poster would risk attracting people wanting to watch Dennis Hopper drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Hm, that would be an interesting project: minimalist posters that can do double duty. Donny Darko and Harvey? Battleship Potemkin and Rocky? 2001 and Quest For Fire?

These are amazing!!! I'd like to how some of these movie posters on my wall (the real ones) but some of them I fear would haunt me in the night - Mulholland Drive and Clockwork Orange spring to mind...
Do you sell these? I would totally buy them!

Great work. Really love the approach and every single one is really beatiful. I just wonder if they would work if one had'nt seen the movies. But since there are no other movieposters like these used in actual campaigns (or at least none I can think of) you'd definitely get some attention.

Dear Grisha,

I really love your poster and I'd really like to purchase some of them if it's possible. Is it possible to buy them. They are really cool. I love practically all of them...very elegant. You can get back to me from the blog through my email address. Thank you very much. Alessandro

Excellent skill and concept,
A really well balanced series of posters.
Love the colours.
--
Although one criticism is that I feel 1or2 of your object choices are actually wrong depending on what your target audience is. For instance the 'Requiem for a dream' poster is perfect, as the object translates the uses of drugs to the audience so we have an idea what kind of film it would most likely be, where as I think 'Reservoir Dogs' surprisingly fails UNLESS you have seen the film. My point being the object of the ear does not speak enough about the film, there were plenty of other icons to use but the ear is an obvious but incorrect choice. I know there's plenty of reasons to say it is the right choice etc, this is just mine.

Man I honestly don't mean to be negative as your work is fantastic, in concept and skill,
I salute you as a designer.

hello Grischa, your works are adorable and respectable,i like your idea of reduce each movie by one single object.

I got some inspiration from your design and i like to share with you:

1.the lipstick for[the shining]
2.the creased-exam-paper for[The Shawshank Redemption]

anyway,if you want a connection you could find me in facebook by me mail.

xoxo.
